Master Artur Emídio
Master Artur Emídio at 70 years old is a living legend in capoeira. He was a student of Master Paizinho another legend from the region of Ilhéus and Itabuna. Master Artur Emídio established himself in Rio de Janeiro where he helped to introduce Capoiera with great success. He is considered by many to be the Master of Master in Rio de Janeiro, and he was chosen as the Godfather of the Rio Community Capoeira Project.
