Master Burguês
Master Burguês was a student of Master Paulão (Paulo Sérgio da Silva) who the founded the Muzenza Group in 1972 in Rio de Janeiro. Burguês took charge of the group when Master Paulão needed to be leave, occupied with his activities in Marinha. In 1975, Master Burguês went to Curitiba, moving the center of the group to Paraná and there continued teaching capoeira.

Today, thanks to Master Burguês, the Muzenza Group has a presence in most of the states in Brasil and various countries including Portugal, Spain, France, the United States, Greece, Argentina and Paraguay.
