Master Itapoan
Master Itapoan began practicing capoeira in 1964, in Salvador with Mestre Bimba. He is one of the most well respected authorities on Master Bimba and Capoeira Regional in the world, the other primary authority being Mestre Decânio. Master Itapoan is also internationally recognized as a scholar of the traditions and historic figures of capoeira.
