Master Lua
Master Lua is from Salvador. He began practicing capoeira with Master Bimba and later spent time training with Master Canjiquinha. A great artesan specializing in atabaques, he builds them and plays them like no one else. In addition, the capoeira he plays is vigorous and full of tricks.

Master Lua was pioneer in teaching capoeira abroad and he created a group in Europe called "Okê-Arou", primarily concerned with with the roots of capoeira. He is also a founding member of the Brazilian Association of Capoeira Angola.
