Your Motivation. So why should
you change your browser? Here's a list of reasons that we've put together:
- Additional functionality. W3C standards include new bells a whistles your browser cannot process, so you don't get to see them.
- Foward compatibility. As more websites are created following web standards (like this one), your current browser will start to have more and more problems.
- Vendor Neutrality. Because standards are detirmined by a vendor neutral commitee, it makes it more difficult for large corporations to control the way the web evolves.
- Cleaner code. Finally, web standards are setup in a logical fashion and make information easier to get to. Long term that could make the whole internet more efficient (and faster).
